TODAY: Lombardo Campaigns with Former Private Equity CEO Who Raised Rent Costs for Seniors 

After vetoing legislation that could have lowered Nevadans’ housing costs, it’s no surprise that Joe Lombardo is campaigning with former Republican governor and private equity CEO Glenn Youngkin, known for raising rent costs for seniors while pocketing $300 million. In addition to being in lockstep with his “commanding officer” Donald Trump and his “billionaire friends,” Lombardo will do just about anything other than offering actual solutions to lower costs for Nevadans. 

This week, Lombardo also campaigned with Linda McMahon, who is responsible for trying to shut down the Department of Education and gut $1 billion in annual funding from Nevada public schools.

Nevada State Democratic Party spokesperson Kate Sosland released the following statement:

“With just 12 days until Election Day, Joe Lombardo is spending his time campaigning with somebody who raised rent for seniors while pocketing hundreds of millions of dollars. Lombardo’s closing message couldn’t be clearer: billionaires first, Nevadans last.”
